GLENGLASS001 : Glenglassaugh Distillery, Portsoy, Aberdeenshire, Scotland


On the northern coast of Aberdeenshire between the picture perfect villages of Sandend and Portsoy sits the Glengassaugh Distillery. The present distillery on this site was built in 1960 and operated until 1986 when it was mothballed. Happily the distillery was bought over in 2008 and started producing spirit again in 2009. It is thought that Glengassaugh should produce about 1 million litres a year.
